System Blue Basic - Indicator Panel for Enclosure?
Posted by: DrFX - 2025-04-19, 23:28 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (16)

Hi,

I have a System Blue Basic, is there a way to extend the indicator emitters to a panel on an enclosure for the Blue Basic? The older designs had the LEDs at the front of the board. Now they are in the middle.

Has anyone extended the status or indicator emitters to the front panel by way of ribbon cable or otherwise for the his System Blue Basic?

I'm wondering if there is an existing kit for the indicators I could leverage, or if I would need some kind of ribbon cable to extend the functionality out to a front facing panel?

What do you all recommend?

Thank you,

Kindly.

Dear all,

Just a quick note that my system blue mini arrived a few days ago (thanks) and when I opened the parcel it was fully assembled, except on component.
These are rather good news, but is it normal? Anyway thanks for assembly.

Kind regards,

  Building a ferrite-rod antenna
Posted by: Kellogs - 2025-04-08, 19:57 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Dear Friends,

I recently purchased a system mini (received but not yet assembled) and I am looking for information on building an antenna. The most simple seems to be a ferrite-rod antenna. Where can I purchase such an antenna or build my own? I found this website https://www.ferrite-rod-antennas.de/ and contacted the owner.

Kind regards,

Hi to you all.
how do I reset my login credentials in the web-interface or is a factory reset the only option. I've searched the forum for an answer but didn't find any, sorry if I have overlooked any post which might have answered my question. I'm running Station 977 FW 10.1RED 10.4/12.3
Best regards,

Hello,

I have entered the email address on the cover_your_area page.
I was informed that the email address is stored on the server.
I can also see the order list.

How can I find out whether hardware is currently available and how can I buy it?

Answers in German are possible.

Thank you very much!

  How to order system blue-basic?
Posted by: Kellogs - 2025-03-26, 17:09 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

Dear all,

How to order a system blue basic? I registered several years ago and again last week.

I just checked the cover your area page, but it does not display my status.
The messages printed is "The following information is stored at our server: E-mail: aa@aa.com, Country: France".

Does it mean it is okay for me to order?
How to order?

Also, my account is still restricted. Could you lift restriction so I can buy the last system red that is available for sale. I cannot communicate using the forum. It has durated several years, could you lift the ban.

Kind regards,
Kellogs

  Lightning Location Logic Question
Posted by: DrFX - 2025-03-11, 04:03 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

  1.  When lightning strikes, and many detectors pick it up, is there a max # of stations that the server will use data from to calculate the location?

  2.   I've heard that a station can detect lightning close by, and then I heard the system will not use lightning data for a strike near by, and instead use data from stations hundreds of miles away?
2.a If you look at the attached station list, it shows stations sorted by closet to furthest for North America, most of them only show lightning hundreds of miles away? Is it possible for the server/station to detect lightning striking near the station?

I'm hoping someone can provide some insight.

Thank you in advanced.
