French NGOs Pyronear & Data For Good to explore Blitzortung data to help firefighters |

Hi there,
I am part of Pyronear, a non-profit NGO whose objective is to democratize open and low-tech solutions for fighting wildfires, for the benefit of the ecosystems and the citizens.
As a team of volunteers, we are currently working with another french NGO DataForGood https://dataforgood.fr/ in order to explore the possibility to help firefighters better manage wildfires that can start after a lightning strike.
The underlying idea is to help firefighters to specifically monitor zones that have been hit by lightning, by identifying these zones and directing their surveillance camera on these spots.
In order to do so, we would like to know if you could share access to your data services ? (in the end we would need near real time, but we can start to play and understand data structure etc with historical data)
Also, our project does not represent commercial interests and is open source by design.
Thank a lot for your response,
Best regards

System Blue on a reboot loop |

Hi! I am a new user and I have a System Blue with the PCB 19.5 and the firmware version 9.4. Every time I turn it on (with only the power connected to the device), it makes a shorter higher-frequency beep and a longer lower-frequency beep. The Power, Mode, Network and GPS LEDs turn on and stay on for about 15 seconds and then the 2 beeps sound again and the whole thing happens again: the 2 beeps and the lights on. I have already tried flashing versions 9.4, 9.5b1, 10.0b1 and 10.0b2 and there is only a difference in the beeps. I have also tried connecting the System Blue to my local network and used Fing to try and find the IP, with no luck. However, when I connect it directly to my PC via Ethernet, I used Wireshark to get the IP address and I am able to ping it but not able to open its web interface. What can I do to solve my problem?

Fault mode after big electrostatic discharges. |

Dears,
My station stopped receiving discharges. It is "Station 2927, BLUE, FW 9.4, PCB 19.5/H1/E1"
'Fault' LED is continuously on, I believe because of 'Fault' mode.. because of overload/interference?
Everything began on a day, when there were big electrostatic discharges in air.
Radar's antennas collected static, and presumably, burnt something on PCB.
Radar was connected to Internet via unmanaged switch over ethernet cable, which has been burnt that night - had to be replaced.
Static was so powerful, that I heard 'clicks' in the middle of the night from another room. I walked into the room where radar was located and saw sparks near antenna connector. I had to use insulated pliers to unscrew F-connector.
Good news: built-in GPS module works, network adapter works.
With disconnected antennas, from debug log:

I did open receiver and visually inspected with a loupe, there is no visible damage.
I belive, that static damaged something, but my knowledge is limited to design/construction.
Anybody has similar issues?
Where to troubleshoot?
Any help is appreciated.
BR /Anton
