Ich möchte trotzdem einmal mitteilen, dass sich auf der VectorMap-Seite ein Tippfehler bei dem PopUp-Feld für die einzelnen Stationen ein Tippfehler eingeschlichen hat.

Bei "Statistik für Benutzer: xxx" wurde das 'z' vergessen.



Es beeinflusst keine Funktion und stört potentiell nur empfindliche Augen.   


#Offtopic: Ich möchte an der Stelle einmal die sehr gelungene VectorMap loben! Ich nutze diese sehr gern!

I have a question, and I don't mean to be antagonistic.  I am a sailor. I have been sailing around the globe for many years and I try to use all of the available information to me to inform my decision making.  In the tropics,  particularly near the equator, lightning is a very real risk.  I have had three strikes within 200m of me, and a direct strike is on the order of $50,000USD and 1 year of time to repair.  I know four friend boats that have been hit.  

My question is this - and please if you have something to contribute, talk about independent observations to calculated results.  Not about "here's the math for the calculated result"

How is  accuracy measured with this platform?  In simple terms - if there is a set of data that represents real actual strikes  or cloud-to-cloud - position and time that we've used to validate?

The signal data is still not updating on the online panel. It has been more than a week since the station was started in the new city, and even though winter has already begun, we are still receiving many signals from distant lightning strikes. But for some reason, I still don’t get any updates in the online signal and statistics panel. At the same time, the station is working and participating in the overall calculations.
I tried turning the station off for a while, but that didn’t help. I also tried deleting the station and registering it again, but that was also without result.

I volunteer for a non-profit supporting high-school soccer, have been looking for lightning strike data for a very small area on a small set of dates.  Is this data available anywhere?  At every turn I find "Access to this data is restricted" or data only available to insurance companies subscribing to a service. 

The data I'm looking for is for is bounded by this GPS rectangle (45.09306, -93.3464), (45.09128, -93.3431) on these three dates (2025/07/15, 2025/07/28, 2025/08/09) UTC-5.  I'm trying to figure out whether some audio problems we have been having are related to a lightning strike or just bad service from our wiring guy.

Is this data available somewhere?

I run station 2834 and the Stats web page shows my Region Europe 1. However it also shows stats for North America. This is showing the same graphs and data as for Europe 1.

How do I remove the stats/graphs for other regions as they are not wanted ?
