| Detector link color choice for map |

I'm using the latest (v 3.6) map to watch activity in region 3, or the North America display, where I live in Wisconsin, USA.
Of course we participants are interested in our systems, when strikes are used for calculations and other signs of participation. We have pride in participation.
I'm wondering, to that end, if there is a way to set a specific color to display when my station is used, in order to have that detector link color be unique to my stations and the rest of the links displayed be the color that is chosen from the configuration box?
I know it seems a wee bit self-important to do this, but if there were some way to have that coloration be different, it would for me at least make it a little more fun to watch the system in action.

BO's live vector map can now be easily integrated on websites with a fixed map. The easiest way is as iframe. Here is an example.
http://map.blitzortung.org/mapexample.html
The various parameters are self-explanatory.
The following parameters with the values 0=false and 1=true are for the controls.
interactive 0/1
NavigationControl 0/1
FullScreenControl 0/1
ScaleControl 0/1
Advertisment 0/1
InfoDiv 0/1
Cookies 0/1
The settings in the menu can be controlled with the following parameters:
MapStyle 0-3
MapStyleRangeValue 0-11
Lightning Range 1-2 1-2
LightningCheckboxChecked 0/1
CourseRangeValue 0-10
CourseCheckboxChecked 0/1
CountingRangeValue 0-10
CountingCheckboxChecked 0/1
CirclesRangeValue 0-10
CirclesCheckboxChecked 0/1
SpeedRangeValue 0-10
SpeedCheckboxChecked 0/1
LinksRangeValue 0-10
LinksCheckboxChecked 0/1
Detectors Range 0-12
DetectorsCheckboxChecked 0/1
CoverageRangeValue 0-10
CoverageCheckboxChecked 0/1
DayNightRangeValue 0-10
DayNightRangeValue 0/1
AudioRangeValue 0-10
AudioCheckboxChecked 0/1
RegionRangeValue 0-9
RegionRangeValue 0/1
Have fun!

| How to accurately determine local time on maps |

Hi,
I am trying to verify the map time (shown as UTC +2) against the actual local time at a given location. For example, looking at Oklahoma / Kansas, the time still shows UTC +2. But I think this area is on UTC -5. So, can I say reliably that the time on the map, minus 7 hours, is the local time for Eastern Oklahoma / Kansas
Thanks, this is a great resource and a very cool project!

Hi,
On 5 September I received an email with an offer to order a System Blue unit. I selected the order option which our team requires and provided a delivery address. However, I received no response and the 14-day notice to order has since expired.
What seems to be the issue?

Hey there!
Recently I've noticed that lightning strikes in northern Sweden has been absent. I had a full blown storm above my head with 30-40+ strikes that didn't show on the map.
Previously it has been spot on all the time, but the last two storms were not present apart from one strike out of *many*. Even the giant ones doesn't register even though I think some of them might have raised hairs a hundred miles away.
Is this due to faltering coverage or something else?
