Hi, I recently received my system blue detector, and I was trying to get it up and running with the simplest antenna configuration. I think that is a meter long wire to use as an E-Field antenna, correct? But upon closer inspection, the rev of System Blue that I have only has a connection for the H-Field preamp connection. Is it not possible to connect an E-field antenna?

I think you've got one of these, then:

You're right, there's no E-field input on the little pre-amp board for System Blue Basic.
I have a system blue mini, and I made two air core loop antenna, as described in this document:
https://www.blitzortung.org/Compendium/D...tennas.pdf
"Multi Turn.:
20 turn, Ø38cm (38cm diameter) ~ Area ~ 0.19² * Pi * 20 ~ 2,3m² (inductance ~ 500μH)
Use 1mm² lacquer or plastic insulated copper"
Works well enough.
