Hello,
I see no scale icons defining the red, yellow, orange colors. It seems that white is lightning.
I am curious to know what the different colored dots mean.

The colors of the dots indicates the age of the strike. The newest strike is white. They become darker as they age.

Thanks for the answer...I recommend adding a small scale on the interface somewhere stating that.

The blitzortung.org "Live Maps" webpage does show the icon color information. I do not see the same thing on the Lightningmaps.org live maps though.
