since I started the station here there was no thunderstorm on the Atlantic nearer than about 1000 km, and some scattered thunderstorms over North Africa, so there was simply no local lightning at all. This may change when we get lows from the west, with lightning and the sorely missed rains, but at the moment nothing like this is in the forecasts.
