How to PoE Red Controller - chubros - 2015-04-05 Hello to everyone. I m trying to find a way to power the red controller with a poe solution. Is there any solution? Thanks in advance. How to PoE Red Controller - DelandeC - 2015-04-05 I think the best way is to use a PoE injector like http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details/?model=TL-POE150S on one side of the cable then use a splitter like http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-4794_TL-POE10R.html on the other side. RE: How to PoE Red Controller - chubros - 2015-04-05 Thanks for your reply. But in the controller side what connector may i use.? Only the ethernet? It is enough? Or i will need adapters from classic jack to micro usb? RE: How to PoE Red Controller - DelandeC - 2015-04-05 It is not possible to power the controller directly through the Ethernet jack. (see ยง4.4.1 of the documentation) So, on controller side, you'll need a PoE splitter with a Cat cable for LAN and, of course, a power cable (jack to mini-USB). You can use your switch as injector if it is compatible with IEEE 802.3af. RE: How to PoE Red Controller - chubros - 2015-04-05 Is there any ready (jack to mini-USB) adapter or should i make one on my own??? RE: How to PoE Red Controller - cutty - 2015-04-05 From experience, for System Red your best bet for all three of your stations would be to stay with what is recommended... a 'dedicated' low noise supply to each controller. and avoid any possible 'loops' or ground problems, as it were. For What this is worth... Thanks for your replies... I was trying to find a low noise place but there is no power there. So i was searching for a poe solution. About the "low noise" adapter do you have any suggestions?
