Sorry to disagree Mike - on my Blue system the interference from a near-by electric fence is reduced
significantly when the earth is connected - Klaus is also seeing a similar reduction effect with noise. I saw Tobi mentioned that earth is not needed however in another post someone asked where the Earth on the Blue was and Ergon responded by pointing out where it was on the new 19.4 boards. This got me thinking and I experimented by connecting Earth - to my surprise the reduction in noise was immediate and returns as soon as I disconnect earth.

Hallo!
Mein letzter Post ist ja schon ne ganze Weile her.
Seit, - auch wenn ich mich wiederhole - der Erdung am Hauskabelanschluss funktioniert alles super soweit.
Ich empfange laut der lighningmaps.org-Seite Signale auch aus 3500km Entfernung.
Ich betreibe meine Blue im Manual-Mode mit Noise-Adaption ohne Probleme.
Das neueste Update habe ich auch gezogen und konnte somit die durchschnittliche Anzahl der getrackten Satelliten auf ca. 18 erhöhen.
Ich bin immernoch vollends zufrieden.
Das kurze Wintergewitter in meiner Nähe (<50km Entfernung) vor kurzem wurde auch schön registriert.

In the past, grounding did not make any difference, but it does now.
