Sorry for my late reply after 8 months. I checked the firmware and every documentation I could find and I think there could be only this explanation: On the original PCB 10.5 the PCB id was accidentally the same as 10.4. The downloadable schematics/layout must have been altered and use the correct PCB id 3. It seems those PCBs were never produced/shipped by Egon, so I never added the id to the firmware.
I will add id 3 to the next firmware so the hardware doesn't have to be modified.
