Blue H field Ferrite antenna in L or Delta shape?

say to put the 2 (or maybe 3) ferrites at 90 degrees.

The picture on the same page http://en.blitzortung.org/cover_your_area.php
shows the ferrites in a 120 degree delta

What should I do?
Have I missed some documentation/description somewhere ?
