Wonder why these PCBs are not produced en masse ... mass production makes the boards cheaper, makes production faster and reduces frustration of the 2700 people on the waiting list. We're all very eager to participate in this wonderful project. Can't see how the project admins don't perceive this.

The PCB's are produced in small production runs as time and money permits. Remember, this is a hobby,
not a full time job. All of the developers have full time jobs, families, etc. The kits are put together in their spare time as orders are paid for and processed, not before. In addition, as the boards are constantly being revised/improved as time goes on, there could be issues in production runs that require modifications to correct the issues that arise. This takes time.
Respectfully,
John

I may then know a person, who is also on the waiting list, who may then be very eager to help with PCB production - he's an electrician and knows PCB production and has actually suggested to make one himself. If his help would be useful in speeding up production... let me know and we can see what can be arranged.

This will need to be answered by Tobi or Egon, but I doubt they are willing to share that information. That is their call.

as someone else in my town already has a system up and running so that would put me at the bottom of the priority list since my area is covered.
Is it possible to make contact with the station owner? I would like to see the system in person.
Station 1781 in Royersford, PA. I live on Chapel Rd.
Thanks,
Tim
That likely won't change you position in the queue. As far as contacting them, while members know exactly where other stations are - and cannot provide that info outside of the group - we don't know who the owner is.
I don't see where the owner of that station has ever been on the forum - no posts with that ID listed, or town mentioned. I'd PM them with your post if they were.

I ended up with a contract deal with USPLN and do not need two systems (also never finished the antenna build). It is FULLY ASSEMBLED and comes with the power supply, GPS Antenna and I even have an almost fully assembled field antenna with all the windings complete. Please see the photos and if interested, let me know ASAP with an offer. I would require PayPal payment or money order for quick shipping. I have a few other people interested from other boards so I am not sure how long I will have it!
Best,

Hi,
Congrats for this collaborative work! I'd like to assembly one station in Brazil.
How can I check my position in the ordering list?
Thanks,

Assuming you have submitted your email address on the Cover your Area page just enter and submit that same email address again.
Cheers
Dave.
